Smarter Collaboration and 360 Feedback Insights from Explorance World 2025

Speaking at Explorance World 2025 in Montreal was an energizing experience. I had the chance to contribute to two engaging sessions – a panel discussion on the power of 360 feedback tools and a book talk on Smarter Collaboration.

The panel with Claude Werder (Brandon Hall Group), Todd Harrison (GE HealthCare), and Hope Owens (Road Scholar) sparked some energized discussion, especially around how tools like the Smarter Collaboration 360 can reveal blind spots, strengthen leadership, and build more collaborative cultures across organizations.

During my book talk (photo below), we focused on how Smarter Collaboration equips leaders and teams to navigate today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world.

What resonated most:

  • No one solves complexity alone. Smarter collaboration brings together diverse expertise and perspectives to tackle big challenges.

  • It’s good for business. Firms that collaborate intentionally see better financial performance, stronger client relationships, and higher retention.

  • It can be built. With the right strategies – like cross-silo goals, smart incentives, and tools like the SC Profile and SC360 – you can embed collaboration into your culture.
